Mental Health and Resilience

Everybody has mental health, and many people face challenges related to mental illness—in fact, one in five Canadians will have a mental health problem or illness this year.

UBC recognizes that building positive mental health and resilience is an important step towards living, learning and working well. That’s why we aim to equip our community members with supports and resources to help them understand mental health issues, thrive when faced with challenges, and improve resiliency and coping skills.
